Rockwell was built on a simple reality from 18 years on the front lines as a firefighter and paramedic: most emergencies aren't sudden. They start with an unnoticed trip hazard, a dead smoke alarm, or a parent living alone while family resides two states away. Rockwell replaces emergency response with proactive safety consultations, delivering calm, scheduled visits before a 911 call is ever needed.

The older adult living in the home remains the decision-maker. We advise and support. They direct the plan, and the plan adjusts as their preferences and needs change.
We coordinate vetted local trades, and we do not take markup on contractor work. Our recommendations serve the family, not a sales quota. The one thing we install ourselves is safety grab bars, so a family is not waiting three weeks and paying a separate trip charge for work that takes an afternoon.
Through Custos Hub by Rockwell, we provide discreet activity awareness and environmental sensing. Cameras are never standard and are available only upon request. Dignity comes first.

Rockwell does not prescribe, select, or supply durable medical equipment, and we do not assess physical capability. That is the professional domain of physical and occupational therapists, and we refer to them. Our scope is the built environment: layout, clearances, structural readiness, and whether the home can support the equipment your care team recommends.
Grab bars are the one thing we install ourselves. They are anchored to manufacturer specification at the locations identified during your audit, and in consultation with your therapist or care team where one is involved. No subcontractor, no waiting list, no trip charge.

Every audit is built on the same codes and practices that govern professional fire and life safety work: NFPA standards for smoke and carbon monoxide alarm placement, egress, and electrical safety, applied with the hazard recognition that comes from eighteen years of walking into homes on the worst day of someone's life.
On the aging side, our approach is person-directed. The resident's preferences and choices come first. Services are offered as options, never as prescriptions, and the person living in the home decides what happens in it.
