Rockwell Home Management, LLC ("Rockwell," "we," "us," or "our") operates rockwellhomemanagement.com and provides home safety consultations, subscription home management services, and the Custos Hub by Rockwell platform to households in Eau Claire and Chippewa Counties, Wisconsin. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
By using our website, requesting a Home Safety & Readiness Audit, subscribing to a Rockwell service tier, or opting in to text messages from us, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
- Contact details: name, email address, mailing address, mobile or landline phone number.
- Household and property details you share when requesting an audit or subscribing to a service tier (for example, home address, household members you have authorized us to interact with, vendor preferences, and accessibility considerations).
- Payment information: processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store full card numbers on Rockwell systems.
- Communications you send us by email, text, phone, or web form.
Information collected automatically
- Website usage: pages viewed, referring URL, approximate location (city/region), device and browser type. We use Google Analytics 4 for aggregate site analytics.
- Cookies and similar technologies for analytics and basic site functionality. You can disable cookies in your browser; some site features may not work without them.
Information from Custos Hub by Rockwell (clients only)
- Sensor event data from environmental and activity-awareness sensors installed in the client home (for example, water-leak alerts, temperature readings, door and motion events).
- System health and connectivity status of the hub and paired devices.
- This data is used to generate alerts, dispatch vendors when authorized, and produce reports for the household and any authorized family members.
What we do not collect
- We do not collect protected health information (PHI). Rockwell is not a covered entity under HIPAA. We are not a home health agency, caregiver service, or medical provider.
- The Custos Hub does not use cameras or microphones for activity awareness.
- We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
2. How We Use Information
- Deliver the Home Safety & Readiness Audit and ongoing subscription services you have requested.
- Schedule appointments, coordinate vendor dispatch, and provide service updates by email, phone, or SMS.
- Process payments and send receipts or invoices.
- Send service-related alerts and notifications, including sensor-based home safety alerts from the Custos Hub.
- Improve our website, services, and operations.
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
3. SMS and Text Messaging
This section describes how Rockwell Home Management uses text messages (SMS) and applies to anyone who provides a mobile number to us, whether through our website, by phone, or in person.
Opt-in and scope of use
By providing your mobile phone number to Rockwell Home Management, whether through our website forms, during a consultation, or directly to a Rockwell representative, you consent to receive service-related text messages from us at that number. Mobile phone numbers and the consent you provide are used only by Rockwell Home Management and are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not share mobile opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing.
Types of messages you may receive
- Appointment confirmations, reminders, and rescheduling.
- Audit and service updates (for example, vendor arrival times, completion notices).
- Sensor-based home safety alerts from the Custos Hub when configured.
- Replies to questions you have texted to us.
- Account and billing notifications.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on your service activity. Most clients receive between 1 and 4 messages per consultation cycle or per active service event. Custos Hub alert frequency depends on sensor configuration and household activity.
Message and data rates
Msg & data rates may apply. Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply to any messages you send or receive. Rockwell does not charge a separate fee for text messages.
HELP and STOP keywords
- Reply HELP to any Rockwell text message for assistance, or contact us at (715) 255-0235 or info@rockwellhomemanagement.com.
- Reply STOP to any Rockwell text message at any time to opt out of further text messages. You will receive a confirmation message and no further texts from that program.
- Opting out of SMS does not cancel your Rockwell service or affect non-SMS communications (email, phone). To pause or cancel service, contact us directly.
Carrier disclaimer
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of any text message is subject to the effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed.
Supported carriers
SMS service is supported on major U.S. carriers, including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and others. Service availability is at the discretion of the carriers.

4. How We Share Information
We share information only as described below. We do not sell personal information.
- Service providers we use to run Rockwell, bound by contract to use the information only to provide services to us. These include: Stripe (payment processing), Supabase (data storage and authentication), Twilio (SMS delivery), HubSpot (customer relationship management), Google Workspace (email and document storage), Railway (application hosting), and GitHub Pages (website hosting).
- Authorized household members and family contacts you have named on your account, only to the extent of the access level you have authorized.
- Vendors we dispatch on your behalf (plumbers, electricians, HVAC, etc.), limited to the information they need to perform the requested work at your property.
- Legal compliance: if required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect the safety of any person.
- Business transfer: in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
5. Data Security
We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted database storage, two-factor authentication for staff access, and audit logging of internal actions. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We will notify affected clients of any confirmed breach of personal information in accordance with applicable Wisconsin and federal law.
6. Data Retention
We retain client information for the duration of the service relationship and for up to seven (7) years after the relationship ends, to comply with tax, accounting, and liability-related obligations. Sensor event data from the Custos Hub is retained for up to two (2) years for incident review and service improvement, unless a shorter period is requested. Audit reports are retained for seven (7) years as part of our service records.
7. Your Rights and Choices
You may:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Delete your information, subject to the retention obligations described above.
- Opt out of marketing emails by clicking "unsubscribe" in any marketing message, or opt out of SMS by replying STOP.
- Withdraw consent for non-essential data uses at any time.

California, Colorado, and other U.S. state residents
If you are a resident of California (CCPA/CPRA), Colorado (CPA), Virginia (VCDPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), or another state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law, you have additional rights, including the right to know what categories of personal information we have collected, the right to deletion, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights. Children's privacy
Our services are directed at adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. For material changes, we will provide additional notice (for example, by email or a prominent website notice).
